These tests allow the advertiser to exclude devices with a slow connection. The advertiser can set the minimum connection speed value themselves and prevent visits from devices connected to the internet with low bandwidth. This filter is therefore primarily relevant for pages that play high-resolution videos.
We recommend using the minimum connection speed filter carefully and considering the impact on the reach of the ad campaign.
Reasons for Insufficient Connection Speed
The connection speed of a device may be insufficient when the device is used for resource-intensive processes such as file sharing, backups, or data processing. However, many of these processes are only temporary and not permanent. The connection speed measurement is therefore only an additional quality measurement with limited predictive value.
