I've unchecked pop-ups (for good reason- if I allowed them then my computer would crash as they never close).
HOWEVER, despite this I am now getting more and more windows opening automatically- godl.de, ihadscale.de, et cet.- as well as others that don't load but simply have "about:blank" in the address bar. It wasn't TOO bad yesterday, but this morning it's non-stop.

As well, accepting pop ups simply is not safe and ebesucher doesn't seem to provide any protection to its users. I've already been told to call a number because my computer has been hijacked, and SID Deutschland Sport has tried to take over my bookmarks. This in the past 10 minutes

I'm using Firefox, OS says 'Yosemite'
Twice today I lost the surfbar; another site just replaced it with itself.
A new tab opened now- godl.de

Ok... Well, a new problem: http://www.harzfriends.de/?bf=3 opens up and then the surfbar is taken over by its website
