Framebreaker-test
Check in a few seconds whether your website can be shown inside a frame. That is exactly what the surfbar needs in order to present your site.
Ready to test
One click opens the test in a new window.
The test waits ten seconds for your website to load completely. The test bar then asks what you can see.
How the test works
Enter the address
Enter your website address and start the test.
Watch the window
A new window opens: the test bar at the top, your website below it.
Give your answer
Tell us what you can see below. The result is there right away.
What the result means
-
Your website appears below
It can be shown inside a frame and is therefore ready for the surfbar.
-
A blank area or an error message appears below
Your website loads a framebreaker. Mark it as a framebreaker when you create the campaign and choose the full page ad format. That is how it runs in the surfbar.
-
The test bar at the top disappears
That is a framebreaker as well: your website takes over the whole window. The same route applies as above.
What a framebreaker is
A framebreaker is a piece of code in your website that undoes any embedding in a frameset and takes the whole window for itself. The same result comes from a header sent by your server: X-Frame-Options, or a Content-Security-Policy with frame-ancestors.
Your campaign still runs. If your server sends X-Frame-Options, eBesucher switches the marking on by itself while you edit the website and tells you so.
