Topic: Is it safe and legit to run the autosurfer in Windows Safe Mode?

Once I accidentally rebooted my Windows 7 laptop in Safe Mode. As I was there I checked if the autosurfer was working and indeed it was. And way faster than normal!
Apart from the sound that was disabled, everything else worked fine. Flash, javascript, etc. Sites loaded really fast. But the day later I checked the earnings and points were considerably lower than normal.
Can the admin and anybody else explain me why this has happened?
