Topic: PC freezes while extension clears cache

Hello,

I've had this problem the whole day yesterday.

Everytime I start ebesucher from the extension tab, a pop up appears in the bottom right corner, with an image of a loudspeaker and the banner: "Start cleaning cache".

At that point my laptop (Windows 7) freezes completely and I have to do a cold reboot.

I also had to manually delete the old profile and restart with a new one, otherwise I'm stuck in a loop.

I have now started with a fresh profile and let's see what happens.

Does anybody have a clue why this happens?

I have pleanty of RAM and disk space. Maybe the extension is a bit buggy?

is the ebsucher addon the only one installed?
Maybe it is causing some conflicts with other addons

It's a separate Firefox profile I'm running and the addon is the only one installed. At the moment of having the freeze no other program was running.
