Squats



'Squats' are exercises to strengthen the legs. In the starting position you stand upright with closed legs and stretched arms so that your elbows are at the height of your ears. Now you flex your knees and move your arms forward at shoulder height. Then you stretch your knees and arms again so that you reach the starting position. This exercise should be performed 25-30 times and repeated when required. Note: Your knees should always be kept slightly flexed and never be fully stretched in order to protect your knee joints.
