Puerto Natales

Puerto Natales is a port city in Chile and has its own port. A visit in this city is worthwhile because it is the starting point for excursions into the very famous national parks Torres del Pain and Bernardo O' Higgins but also for Tierra del Fuego and Patagonia tours. The first borders Argentina to the north and covers an area of about 2,400 m2. The "Torres del Paine" are the landmark of the park and consist of three needle-shaped granite mountains with an altitude between 2,600 and 2850 meters. Near this mountains there is the wonderful lake Lago Nordenskjöld.
