Cape Town
Cape Town is the second largest city of South Africa and is visited by tourist especially between October and March. One of the most popular tourist attractions is the Table Mountain, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront as well as the Long Street. The latter is an entertainment mile where there are bars and restaurants and also nightclubs. A further very popular tourist destination is the former prison island Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela († 5 December 2013) was arrested. The Island belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999.
