Books and Magazines
The Lord of the Rings was written between 1937 and 1948 by the English writer J.R.R. Tolkien. With more than 150 million copies, it is one of the most successful and best known novels of the 20th century. Originally, Tolkien's work was supposed to be a mere continuation of "The Hobbit", but it became a stand-alone book series which was later adapted and brought to screen by Peter Jackson.
